Supervision
The UK legislation The Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014: Regulation 18 says “Staff must receive the support, training, professional development, supervision and appraisals that are necessary for them to carry out their role and responsibilities”
Supervision is a structured, planned ongoing process of guidance, support, and development for staff, focusing on their daily work and progress.
There is no set frequency for supervision but the general recommendation is 4-6 times per year.
Our supervision service offers comprehensive support, encouraging the discussion of complex topics within a confidential and secure environment. Each session is thoroughly documented and adheres to regulatory standards.
